Hydro Pigs

PolyEurope offers a range of Hydro Pigs which are  used for displacement of water or air in pipeline pigging processes. With excellent sealing abilities in all circumstances, the Hydro Pipeline Pig range is available from 4” to 12” with a single body bolt design and from 12” to 56” with a multi bolt design.

The general purpose design is supplied with two "sandwich" packages consisting of polyurethane elastomeric sealing discs and polyurethane high density foam discs; these are used for high performance sealing, as well as drive discs. This design proves most successful in pipeline pigging dewatering operations. Additional options include the attachment of a transmitter / data logger housings.

The PolyEurope Hydro Pig range is supplied with a polyurethane bumper nose at each end as standard. The multi bolt pig body assemblies are welded to code standard BS EN ISO 15614-1 2004 with optionally welds being subjected to NDT testing (MPI) afterwards and coated with an anti-corrosion surface protection coating.
